NEW DELHI: A woman foiled a robbery bid at her home in outer Delhi's Rohini on Saturday after she attacked one of the accused.
Suman Goyal, a homemaker, was alone at her house in Sector 3. Her husband, Bajrang, is a businessman. Suman told police two men claiming to be from her husband's office came to deliver a suitcase around 12.30pm.
Police said that when the men failed to answer her questions properly, Suman grew suspicious and asked them to leave. One of the men tried to grab Suman but she bit his hand. The other man threatened her with a pistol.
Hearing the noise, Suman's sister-in-law who lives on the ground floor rushed upstairs and the women attacked the men. The duo managed to flee but left their weapon behind.
