Government is planned to take another step forward with Aadhar card UIDAI, this is going to be a revolutionary step of government to eliminate bogus voting in elections. This step is first taken by the Haryana government starting from the Faridabad district, the officials have started collecting the Aadhaar card numbers of citizens of district and when done administration will start adding them to voter id.
To a reporter of DesiCritics officials said it is an electoral linking process in that we are planning to identify the bogus voters and make the voting process more clear and pure. This step was important because in past years we have seen the people and parties winning through fake voters and ones we link the voter id and Aadhaar card together.
Mr. Amit Agrawal, Deputy Commissioner added that the process of Aadhar Card linking with Voter ID will be done door to door in that our team would be doing both correction in voter id card and also gathering the Aadhaar Card numbers, this process may take up-to 6 months to complete and for the new voter registration it would be necessary to have Aadhar Card.
Note: If you have not applied for Aadhar card then consider applying online Aadhar card from the official website- eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
As per the report the Adhar card would be linked in electoral data along with the voter id cards and if this practical goes successful then this practice will be done nationwide.
